The objective of this project was to recreate an Album Cover concept. I choose the latest Matisyahu album, because he is a musician that I like a lot, and his music inspires me in most of my works.
In this project, I decided to inspire the artwork and the style in his previews albuns, a more illustrated style and street mood, like stencil and such.
The type, is the original of the album, I just added a little brush effect to it, for it to seem more manual.
As for the illustrations, I searched for his previews albuns and I found that most of it's albuns represent him, so I wanted to do the same, but since Matisyahu changed his look, he went from a long beard and Jewish hair, to a completly normal look, and I want to represent his transition on this album, CD1 as his new style, and CD2 is the Acoustic Versions of some musics of the CD1, and since he always had that acoustic side, I decided to make the Acoustic Sessions his previews self, ressembling the transition but transmiting that he stayed the same, with the same thoughs and personality.

The CD will have a system that will allow to only see the cover for CD1 or only CD2.
And this is how we change from CD1 to CD2
Finally, the booklet of the album, the album as only one booklet that can be put either on the CD1 side or CD2 side, so the booklet as the lyrics of the musics in the albums
When we open the booklet, we see the "new" Matisyahu full face.

I only used the illustrations that are on the album, so the art don't differ a lot from the album.
You have to put the code in the end of the booklet in order to enable the playlist on the website.

You have two scroll layouts, one to the left and the other to the right, and you can scroll to fit the background as you desire, and you can fit the images one with the other to make different backgrounds
